PAY DESIGN FEE
Custom Design Fee $150 — this covers my time and the materials to create your unique backdrop design.
(TIP: most of out photographers pass this on to the client who is requests a custom design)

CONNECT & COMMUNICATE
We will connect for design planning and selection for your backdrop elements. (props, balloons, character cut-outs etc.)

FAQs:
Q: Will I own the design?
A: Nope — you’re paying for the creation of a custom design that will be made available through Baby Dream Backdrops (just like all our drops). You’ll get first dibs, of course!
Q: Can I request revisions?
A: One small tweak is included within 24 hours of the draft being sent to you for approval! By this final stage of the design process, balloons and cut-outs can not be changed, however, we can change placement of elements you have already selected. Major changes may require additional time and design fees.
Q: How long does it take?
A: Custom designs are usually completed within 2–4 weeks, depending on complexity.
Q: Can I request a backdrop that isn’t for a cake smash session?
A: At this time, custom designs are exclusively for cake smash and milestone themes only. If it doesn’t pair with frosting or milestones, it’s not on the menu (for now).
Q: What if I don't like the design or change my mind — can I get a refund?
A: Since custom designs are handcrafted and time-intensive, the $150 design fee is non-refundable — even if you change your
mind or decide not to move forward. I pour a lot of love, time and money into purchasing the custom elements to create each backdrop,
Besides, this is unlikely to happen since you are such a big part of the design process (selecting colors, graphics and all the specials things for your specific vision)
but even still, thank you for understanding!
Q: Are these AI-generated designs, or will this be a real set-up?
A: Nope — no AI shortcuts here! All designs are created using real, professionally styled elements that are carefully composed
to photograph beautifully. Every detail is crafted with photographers in mind.
Q: What sizes can I get the custom backdrop in?
A: You can order your design in all standard Baby Dream Backdrops sizes — including 60x80, 6x8, 8x10, and 8x12.
If you have a DreamEasy system from BabyDreamBackdrops, you can even get it in the 5x7.5 with the silicone edge!
